Although Qualcomm is currently busy executing amends for it’s short supplied’ Snapdragon 835 SoC that is blocking many smartphone launches, exposures on its future SoCs don’t stop. Now, it arrives the next flagship mobile processor is in the works, as Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC has reportedly been located on the company site adjacent the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 630 SoCs both of which are reputed to launch on Tuesday at an event in Beijing. Earlier, Qualcomm Snapdragon 635, Snapdragon 630 are tipped to be revealed with Snapdragon 660 SoC.
Separately, current report hints that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor is in the works, and will be made on a new faster, more efficient 7nm fabrication process. Moreover, the new SoC will debut on the Galaxy S9 next year, the leak tips.
Located by Win Future on the company site in a listing that’s since been eliminated, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (SDM845) was listed adjacent to the Snapdragon 660 (SDM660) and Snapdragon 630 (SDM630). The statement further adds that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC will be unveiled this year, and will ship on devices early 2018.
Separately, IT Homes statement that TSMC has started work on the new 7nm process, and it is now in an analysis production stage. This new method will reportedly make a smartphone much quicker than before. The 7nm process can also be housed in a smaller frame and will increase performance by up to 25 to 30 percent when contrasted to the current 10nm process.

The IT Homes statement adds that Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC’s work is also underway and will be originated in early 2018, and will reportedly debut on the Samsung Galaxy S9. The SoC is organized on the 7nm process. However, the process won’t be expensive to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC only. Huawei, MediaTek, and Nvidia will reportedly also introduce custom-made chips established on the new 7nm process.
There’s tiny else known about the upcoming SoC, except for the new process it will be constructed. In any matter, the new SoC will be unveiled delayed this year, or early 2018. This year’s Snapdragon 835 SoC prime debuted on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+, supported by the Xiaomi Mi 6 and Sony Xperia XZ Premium. It is expected to appear on the OnePlus 5, HTC U 11, and the current Nokia flagship as well.
