The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Edge is set to launch in early 2017 with reports claiming that the phones will have an “all screen” design. As rumours spread around the Samsung Galaxy S8’s design, Bloomberg reports that the smartphone will have an “all screen” design, meaning the front panel will hold just the display and nothing else, not even the home button. Yes, trusted sources say the home button in the Galaxy S8 will not be present. All these changes will provide the users with a better viewing experience than its peers.
The disappearing home button will be embedded beneath the display on the lower side of the screen. Henceforth it will work with organic light-emitting diode technology, the report added. Samsung strives hard to overcome the disasters it faced with its Note 7 devices, thus trying to keep up the audience by revamping the design. We have an added information that the Samsung would join the iPhone 7 and the Moto Z league in waving off the headphone jack and headphones will be compatible with the USB Type-C port.
Regarding the display, Sammobile says that the Samsung Galaxy S8 would have a Quad HD resolution along with the RGB Super AMOLED panel. This will make the phones screen a lot more sharper. The screen also gains more strength making it harder to crack. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835, again it will be a combination with the Samsung’s own Exynos. Samsung has applied for a trademark for its new technology called “Smart AF” and it will be spread along the Samsungs’s mobile phones, smartphones and tablet computers. The Galaxy S8 will have this technology also in its front cam.
Samsung plans to introduce a new voice assistant powered with AI, making it significantly different from the other smartphones. The phone will have the all the Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and 4G with VoLTE support. Powered by a 4200mAh battery and fast charging as well as wireless charging. Other expected features are the fingerprint scanner, an iris scanner, water resistance, dust resistance and a heart rate sensor.
The product will ship with Nougat 7.1 and expected to reach the stores by March or April to reach globally. As this time Samsung is very sure about stringent testing.
